Dear all,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the children for their first term of Academic year 2017 in their respective schools which opens today 6^th February 2017. I know most schools in Uganda especially primary schools resumed studies today. Secondary schools as well open today except new entrance (S.1) which will report on 13^th February 2017.

It’s my pleasure to thank all parents who struggled to engage their children in productive work over this long holiday from November 2016 till today.

As most of you are aware of our project this year 2017 to put up a school for dis-advanged children, we are happy for all your support especially our friend Ms. Maria Cristina who is working hard to support us and bring up this school “Queen of Angels Primary School” to reality in Northern Uganda. I therefore, request organizations, individuals, companies, well wishers from Uganda and around the world to support this project. The main goal of this school is to “restore the lost love and Christian values by providing equitable quality education to all children in Northern Uganda.

We believe that, with your support/partnership, this school will be put up to restore the lost love in children of Gulu, Uganda. 2017 Project: Construction of Queen of Angels School

Location:                           GULU, UGANDA Project Estimated Cost:     US $ 900,000 Implementing Agency:    ALICE FOUNDATION

Context:    Queen of Angels Primary School shall be the center of academic and moral Excellency and development with good Christian values of love, peace, respect and self control. These values were corrupted by the insurgency which took place for more than 20 years in Acholiland and the whole greater Northern Uganda. Many people lost them and so, the children loosed more. Queen of Angels Primary School once constructed will open doors of love and peace among children who will transfer it to the community hence restoration of the lost love, improved early childhood stimulation, reduction in illiteracy, high spiritual development and unlocked economic potentials of people in Northern Uganda.

Core Objectives:

·        To restore the lost Christian values by providing equitable quality education at early stages.

·        To enlighten the community of Gulu to acknowledge the help of God and be committed to embrace love, peace and human dignity for transformation of the society.

·        To create conducive conditions for spiritual and moral growth.

·        To increase children’s freedom to choose and live in the likeness of Christ.

Project Components:

The key inputs of the project is to inject in construction works of a Model classrooms,Dormitories,Chapel,Administration block, sick bay, Assembly Hall, Changing room for Girls and conducive sanitary facilities among others so as to address  the loss of love, illiteracy, respect and integrity among the children and people of Northern Uganda.

Expected Outputs:  Queen of Angels Primary School will have a well built and furnished model and modern Study facilities that aids Learning, improve intellectual and cognitive abilities with exhibition of high Christian values.
